Arcelia Wicker, Jr. served in the United States Navy for 25 years as a healthcare leader and administrator. His Naval career encompassed an array of healthcare roles including financial management, health benefits planning, global health project planning, and partnering with medical professionals around the globe.

Arcelia earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Hampton University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Old Dominion University. He earned the designation of CHARTERED FINANCIAL CONSULTANT (ChFC) through the American College of Financial Services.

Arcelia has facilitated numerous financial literacy classes in local communities, and he is fulfilled by guiding families through their personal financial journey. He is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

Arcelia resides in Carrollton, Virginia, with his wife, Thomasena, and two beautiful daughters. He values quality family time, including total immersion in his children’s extracurricular activities, and traveling, and he is dedicated to lifelong learning and education.
