Loose Thoughts on Immigration

No serious person thinks we should have zero border security – none!

The political perspective is that (1) if you worship at the Republican altar, you must believe as instructed and (2) if you worship at the Democratic altar, you also must believe as instructed.  Nonpartisan thinking cannot be tolerated!

The religious perspective on immigration is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (silence) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . love each other . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (silence) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Economics 101 perspective is that there are 7.4 million unfilled jobs in the U.S.

Economics 201 perspective is that unskilled immigrants are not qualified for those jobs.

The current humanitarian crisis is not the government’s fault — the surge from the triangle countries was unexpected.
But, there’s no excuse for not putting up more tents inside secure, fenced areas.

Word games never end . . .
“Strict Enforcement” is a code word or dog-whistle for removing kids from families.
