Any American close to an English friend faces this annual dilemma: How do you share the fun-spirit of our Independence Day from England, with our English friends?

Most Americans just exclude those English friends.
Some Americans just offer a ceremonial hot dog & cold beer to anybody with a British accent.
I’ve found the Brits are fine with anything, as long as they can laugh about how awkward we feel about it.

People are people everywhere, except the Brits do think we talk funny?
