I am amused at the uproar over some male actor slapping another male actor at the annual Oscars award ceremony last night.
Apparently, one male actor made a tasteless joke about the other male actor’s wife, which is unkind and inappropriate.
Trashing some women may be worse than just slapping them, as their emotions tend to run deeper.
I salute the male actor who slapped the offensive male actor, but wonder why he didn’t give him an uppercut to the chin, instead of a mere slap?
I know, I know . . . we’re civilized people who shouldn’t resort to violence . . . unless “absolutely necessary!’
It was appropriate violence last night . . . not inappropriate violence.
