I agree with my Republican friends that President Trump doesn’t deserve to be impeached for covering up sexual dalliances between consenting adults.
Yes, there are differences, i.e., the number of women, the hush money, and maybe campaign interference, but it is still about sex. Given that these allegations against Trump may abrogate his pre-nuptial agreement with Melania, his cover-up is even more understandable than Clinton’s cover-up.
Of course, if the President colluded with the Russians to impact our democracy, then he deserves something worse than impeachment! That is entirely unrelated to dalliances.
