Easy Choice ?

If China has a population of 1.4 billion and the U.S. has 333 million, that means China has about 4.2 citizens for every American.

So far, the U.S. has lost about 760 thousand people to Covid.  China admits to less than six thousand dead from Covid.  Outsiders put the Chinese dead at about 125 thousand, which would mean we lost six times as many people as China lost.  So far, we have lost 635 thousand more people than China lost!

China is four times bigger, but we lost six times as many people.

The reason China lost fewer people than the U.S. is due to the strict draconian lockdown of the Chinese population, far more severe than the lockdown here.  They could do what the U.S. cannot do, because they are a police state.

Question:  If you could save 635 thousand Americans, would you give up on democracy?

Are the 635 thousand “excess” dead Americans casualties of war or just casualties of ideology?
