Hanging On The Ledge ?

During a crisis, one of the more delicate jobs of financial advisors is begging clients not to jump out of the market.  Warren Buffet said the only time to be out of the market is NEVER.  Indeed, while stocks are on sale, shouldn’t investors put more money into the market?

But they say, this time is different.  Bear markets are always different . . . yes, but not much.

But they say, this time somebody mentioned nuclear bombs.  Guess they don’t remember the Cuban crisis?

But they say, this time is different because it is a geopolitical crisis, as well as a financial crisis.  That’s true, but have you ever seen such worldwide geopolitical unity?  Plus, the Fed demonstrated no reluctance to flooding the economy with enough money to keep it moving.

I’ve seen many bear markets and have no fear of them, as they were all man-made.

The only bear market that ever scared me was the Covid-crash in March of 2020, because that was not man-made.  But, we even survived that!
